Arkansas gets a commit from the 15th best RB in the country with one other decent commitable offer and suddenly it's proof positive Bielema can recruit.

I love you guys.

Yet, rated better than all but 1 of petrino's classes I believe. In 2 months. That speaks well to how good the staff recruits. The guys committed for 2014 are 4/5 star types. Fully expect top. 15 class next year, which would be unheard of atArkansas.

3.267/10
Signing a 5* (#1 RB by 247 which is the consensus best recruiting service by this board) RB after Arkansas being on his radar for 2 months? Not only him but a 4* lineman whose radar we werent on, possibly flipping a 4* QB/S whose rardar we weren't on. Yeah I'd say its indicative.

First of all, all classes outside the top 20-25 are filled with mostly 3-star local talent (which Arkansas' is for the most part as you'll sign three players that anybody will notice). By the standards of most title contending teams in major conferences, your class is pedestrian. Nobody but you guys and the grinders brag about being top-25 in recruiting.

Second, your class will finish as the 11th best in the SEC and 7th best in the West. Pedestrian or not, you still won't compete with that.

Rafe Peavey, QB. camp performances after already being ranked a 4star really impressed scouts. Might not, but decent chance.

And another instate DL that will PROBABLY commit to Arkansas could get to give stars. Massive kid. Frazier, I think, is his name.

Fair enough. Those rankings for 2014 are fluid, especially for most quarterbacks.

so a 5* running back only had one other commitable offer?

Good to know. And thanks for your continued interest in Arkansas athletics.

Bielema can't recruit.
