As far as hard hitting games, you're right the ref gate game was brutal in 2006. The fsu-Florida game from 1996 also stands out in my mind.

But I think bama will be able to run a bit on lsu and lsu will be able to throw a bit on bama. Lsu has better special teams I believe which could be the difference.

Ready for it to be played, enough already. Game day, just get here. Three days were enough to cover any and every topic and we stll have over a week to go.

With both teams coming off a bye, I really don't see why it would not be.

that is played clean.

Impossible. No matter how the game unfolds, there will be a ridiculous amount of threads about shitty officiating. What is the over/under on those threads anyway? Hopefully, no one gets hurt in this game.

Just one of a few, quite a few actually, I thought of over Richardson.

It will be very physical, yes, but the most physical for both teams? Not so sure.

UF-LSU was rugged. Definitely a game where no quarter was given or taken by either.

Hits in that game were hypersonic.

Darren McFadden would and does run circles around trent richardson. Cmon mannnnn.

And quit acting like a baby boy bitch. Lsu will be ready to play.

Whoever wins needs to do so in a blowout so as to quash any future talk of a rematch. I do not want to see this game played again in the NCG.

Unfortunately, if it ends up as a 6-7 point margin, there will probably be a decent chance of another game between us. I expect Okie Lite, Stanford, and Clemson to drop a game. Boise doesn't count.

I actually disagree with this post totally. We will beat Ala by a bigger margin than you think. Yeah TR is great but our defense is gap sound and we tackle really well. We will stack the line and our Db's will cover Man to man well. If we get consistant pressure on their Qb we REALLY win big. Our offense will score as well. TR 's greatness will not be the deciding factor. Whoever pressues the QB the best will win!!

I think it is somewhat difficult, but I think the game being at Bama is kind of a nice advantage for UA. That said, LSU is pretty damn good in their own way too.

Should be a good game

LSU-more experience at qb
this is a very important factor in college ball

Richardson the best ever? Try watching some OJ, McFadden, Jim Brown, Floyd Little, Marcus Allen, Shaun Alexander, Wilbur Jackson

LSU-greater defensive depth

We are always playing in Alabama's shadow, so we always are extra motivated.

Everybody loves to talk about this, but I have yet to find one person that actually wants to see a rematch of this game for the title.

Anyone who claims to know the outcome is a lying, cheating, dirty yankee carpetbagger from Boston. Only person who knows for sure he will win is the corn dog rep for Bryant Denny.

was Bama was #17 in 2007 when LSU beat us?

We were 2 weeks off a losing to La Monroe and finished the year 6-6, that just doesn't seem right... but I guess I'll take your word for it
