That's what all this always boils down to...Bama's success.It's the same with fans of UCLA with USC,Ok St with OK,Mich St with Mich,etc.

To be fair the SEC's official rules that are the same SEC record = Co - Champs, regardless if one team has beaten the other. It's worked against us as we had 3 SEC champs in baseball a couple years ago when SC beat both the other co-champs, and we are officially an SEC East Co-Champ in basketball under Horn's first year, even if we lost to UT twice.

Bama is still the best team in the country. There's a reason why Vegas still has them favored over Florida State and Auburn on a neutral field. I will never get over this loss. There are 49ers fans who are still pissed off at Roger Craig fumbling the ball in the 1990 NFC Championship Game and I'll always be pissed off at Cade Foster for destroying Bama's shot at a three-peat. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to go down in history and Bama blew it.

Is it really that complicated to understand that teams with the same record are tied for first place, hence this thing called a "tiebreaker" which in this case, happened to be head-to-head.
As long as they don't put up a banner ala Mack Brown in 2008 claiming to win the conference, I think it's okay.
