Has anyone read the Blind side book? I have read several Michael Lewis books and I would have to think that with the research he did on the likes of "The Big Short" that he would have had to have found some shite on Oher to OM and Freeze there after him. Is that part in the book at all?

Does OM Compliance not get involved with the logistics of recruits that come to campus for visits? Do they not check on details like who's providing rides/meals/hotels, etc? Do they not check and follow-up on the vehicles the active student-athletes are driving? And if a student-athlete gets his hand slapped for using a loaner car an excessive amount of time, does the Compliance staff not follow-up to make sure the occurrence isn't repeated?

This is just my opinion:
People who are usually over the top with their "integrity" and holier than thou flamboyancy are usually the ones full of corruption and lies. Not always, but it is fairly common.

I haven't read the blindside but i have read a couple of his other books. They are researched but not intensely. This was a feel good story not some kind of journalism to dive deeper into the subject/bigger story.
