We were running the hunh in 2001 then after we embarrassed fulmer in Knoxville he complained to the league office and they made us stop.

This. Richt ran a hurry up offense as OC at FSU and ran pretty much the same offense when he became HC at UGA. Back then his offense was squashed by coaches like Phil Fulmer who complained to the officials who in turn intentionally slowed down the game.
