It is perfectly fine for Vandy to trash talk Bama. It reminds me of a Chihuahua barking at a Great Dane, but hey knock yourself out.

Sure they do. They lower the curve and the standards so that the rest of us dont have to try as hard to look good by comparison. That is a valuable role to play that is very helpful IMO and we should all be grateful

Honestly, we should fire him in such a scenario because being able to do that at Vandy would highlight his failings. I know CBJ isn't popular here or on the board but I'll never hate him for digging us out of the hole we were in which was MUCH bigger than anyone realizes. However, this can't go on. Even if Vandy loses the situation has gotten untenable, imo.
I've seen plenty of bad losses -- some that scoreboard and opponent wise were far worse than this one. BUT this is at least a top 5 in terms of terrible losses. It just was and although many will point to in-game coaching, I don't see that so much as a QB that keeps pulling the ball to throw despite having a great RB and UF's strength being defending the pass and a team that's still too soft and lacks the drive that made CBJ's first 3 teams fun to watch even though they were out-talented. Those things fall on coaching, just not the part of coaching most blame.
That said, our admin and boosters are tightwads despite us having plenty of money. My big fear is we get CBJ with a different haircut.
For whatever reason, CBJ has regressed, imo, and it's not just the lack of Dobbs. Even Worley's teams despite being terrible played with some passion. Also, the creativity we saw in earlier years is gone. It's as though he coaches tighter now that games can be won.

Honestly, the fact that anyone from Vandy is talking shite, is kinda nice. I'm proud of y'all. To be this far into the season, without already being demoralized, is a monumental occasion. Troll on, Lil buddy. Troll on.
