Let me know when they beat Stanford.

Exactly. Might be the game of the year.

They'll beat Stanford this year. I can feel it.
I don't see Bama or anyone else humiliating TN the way Oregon was able to, if that's any measuring stick.

Last year, Oregon avg'd 60+ points a game. They won 12 games. Lost one, to a physical Stanford team. They only scored 14 points.
The year before, Oregon avg'd 60+ points a game. They won 12 games. Lost to a physical LSU team. They only scored 27 points.
The year before that, Oregon avg'd 60+ points a game. They won 12 games. Lost one, to a physical Auburn team. They only scored 19 points.
Don't be fooled. They are the definition of pretender.

Oh how I wish UT could pretend so well!

It'll be ok.
But the Vols do suck at beating Pac-12 teams since 2008. (Oregon twice, UCLA twice)

LSU plays a tough schedule so probably won't make it there but Bama should skate on in again to the NC game, and I think Ducks will win.
The schedule in 2011 was much tougher than this year IMO and they managed to get to the BCSCG with a incompetent O then. The D this year isn't as good as they have been but they are only going to improve (barring any injuries). I'm trying to not get too excited until after next weekend, but I'm really starting to like this teams chance to make it back to the big game.

Naw, i don't think "Bama sucks so we all suck" is what the OP is saying. So far LSU and Georgia look like the best two teams in our conference but i said before the season started that the SEC champion would have one or possibly two conference losses. I just think we beat each other up this season. Nobody is going undefeated in the conference this season.

The usual few SEC team I'd put against anyone in Nation without worry. Just hasn't shown themselves this season so far. We'll see if the top teams from SEC get their acts together soon enough.

Auburn and TCU hanging with LSU, tells me all I need to know about the tigers defense. Oregon would likely embarrass the shite out of LSU in the National Championship. Oregon will win it all this year or Ohio St.

Well good thing they won't get better throughout the year or anything.. Dipshit.

Seems like you're implying that Virginia Tech and Colorado State are worthy opponents.
No. Texas A&M is greater than anybody on Ohio State's schedule. Have you seen Michigan and Wisconsin? We'll see how good Northwestern truly is in 2 weeks when they play Ohio State. Ohio State's schedule is pathetic. Texas A&M + LSU + SEC East Champion (if Alabama makes it to the title game) >>> whatever Ohio State faces during the regular season.

If would be truly ironic for UGA to finally get there, but then lose the BCS CG.

Those 4th quarter touchdowns were garbage. LSU did the best job of shutting them down. Stanford's secondary wasn't elite last season, and Oregon missed several receivers. I realize both teams left points on the field, but it's not like Stanford dominated. Mariota made unforced errors, and the team blew their opportunities for more touchdowns like when Mariota broke off that 70+ yard run and DAT didn't block the safety.

What high powered offenses have Georgia or LSU shut down for an entire ball game? Holding a team to 400+ yards and 3+ touchdowns is not an elite accomplishment. I'll save analyses for Georgia and LSU for Sept. 29, which is when I'll have had enough time to digest what I saw in the game and read online.

Oregan will fold the first time it meets a defense........like last time.
LSU or Bama will hold the Crystal.
Surely you don't think Bama has a good defense, right?

If Alabama can't run the table and win the conference, then that is irrelevant. Furthermore, no one should be thinking about the national championship at Week 4. No team is safe right now. Anyone can be upset, players can go down, and future opponents will improve from week to week. Essentially, things will get tougher for the teams that matter in this country.

I don't think an sec team makes it. Pretty sure the ducks have a spot on lockdown. And the media will do anything to get ohio state there if their undefeated. Same with Clemson. I think everyone in the sec this year has at least one loss.
I honestly believe there will be huge ramifications on the outcome of the SCAR/Clem game in Columbia this year provided Clemson beats FSU of course.
If SCAR wins out until that last game we could be the highest ranked team playing the highest ranked team on the last weekend of the regular season, followed by Atlanta which, again, would pit two top five teams which could easily setup the SEC for another shot at the title ... vs Oregon probably.
OSUe is gonna lose to someone during the regular season. Louisville will be jumped. It's up to the PAC 12 and the SEC this year.
