They were bad last year. The only difference is last year there were at least 10 threads a day about Bama's control of the scheduling and how unfair it is, and this year it has been about Saban's 10 second rule and how he is scared of everything from the HUNH to his own shadow.
Everyone hates on Bama because Bama is the elite football program in the SEC (and America really), both historically and in recent history. I'm starting to think it's just a simple case of penis envy.

I'm sure we'll get the "Rank SEC schools based on ___________________" daily threads pretty soon.
Then we can get in those 10+ page bitchfests based on some obscure ranking that one fanbase doesn't agree with (best college towns, best party towns, academic rankings, etc).
Then all will be right and the world and another off-season will pass in agony.

There are 2 threads about Bama on the 1st page. Actually they're both about Saban because he's been in the news lately with the rule change. It's been the Bama fans showing up in just about every decent thread and completely shitting all over it. See the stadium expansion thread as an example. Spring ball starts for everyone next week so that will take up some time, the the rankings and the magazines come out, then the dullness of June and July when everyone starts predictong the schedules, then Boom...its August!

Could you link the post that helped shite all over it? IIRC that thread stayed on topic pretty well for one that was 13 pages long. The entire last page is filled with pictures of LSU's stadiums. Bama fans should have shitted all over it harder.

This is prob the worst offseason for Bama fans.
They choke away the IB, then get thier arse handed to them by OU in the Sugar Bowl. Saban makes a desperate hire and then embarasses himself with the 10 second/smoking rule...all the while the bball team vomits all over the court for another year.
Outside of recruiting classes and gymnastics, there has not been much good going on since they beat LSU last November.
