It all comes down to LSU. Bama was able to beat LSU so Bama is capable of winning the national championship. 2013 Auburn wasn't able to beat LSU so 2013 Auburn was not capable of winning the national championship. 2006 & 2008 florida,2010 Auburn, 2009,2011,2012 Bama were able to beat LSU so they were capable of winning the national championship.
Goddamn right.

I hope Ohio State and Urban embarrass Bama

You get automatic downvotes and an influx of troll responses just for having a Bama A by your username

Don't even care. It was a legit question though.

I'm pulling for Bama to be put back on probation.

I understand that no matter what there will be responses in this thread that are along the lines of "frick Bama", "Never pull for the Alabama", etc., however I'm seeing a lot of responses pulling for Alabama. I know UF fans probably want Alabama to skullfrick OSU, most everyone here hates Jameis and Jimbo more than they hate Bama, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to read about how Oregon is the next dynasty in college football and how the PAC has always been better than the SEC.
So what say you? Are you secretly hoping Alabama pulls this off, ambivalent, or absolutely against it?
Roll Tide!!!1

I am NOT pulling for any team that LSU recruits against.
Someone, PLEASE explain to me how Alabama winning a National Championship helps LSU get recruits or win football games.
I have been asking that for years and no one has offered an acceptable or reasonable answer.

Reasons I would like Alabama to win:
- I like Lane Kiffin and want him to do well.
- It's easier to perpetuate the SEC narrative if an SEC team wins it all, and the only one that's left is Alabama. Especially in the year when the Big 12 gets shut out of the playoff, another natty by an SEC help perpetuates the myth to recruits in this part of the country.
- It means FSU didn't win, which would perpetuate the myth that the SEC has been toppled.
Reasons I don't want Alabama to win:
- Their fans are the worst.
- That means Oregon didn't win and I would like to see them win it all. Their system being successful is good for A&M.
- 4 out of 6 could lean more towards a Bama dynasty narrative that takes over the SEC dynasty narrative. Which I think could adversely affect A&M.
