Sadly...this is how the majority of your fans think. I promise you LSU needed to play with way more than emotion to win that game....maybe they needed to play like they belonged in the game...which obviously they didn't belong.

They obviously belonged based on their undefeated season. They just played like garbage.

The game never should have been played. But, it was and there will always be an asterisk by that "championship" in my mind. The second place team in the SEC West wins the national championship? Whatever.

How many of you have I reeled in on this one?

Seriously, though. Congrats. Best of all time. Blah, blah, blah.

And is thus, for all intents and purposed, the best team in the country and the conference.

How do you figure Bama was robbed in 1977? Just curious?

I'll tell you how BAMA was robbed in 1977 ( not as bad as 1966). Notre Dame was voted #1 of course. We had the same record, but Notre Dame lost to Ole Miss 20-13 that year. We beat the living day light out of Ole Piss 38-13. Case closed.

And like I said earlier, that was karma for 73.

Why do BAMA fans use caps lock when typing BAMA?

Because they are the only team in America that deserves caps.

Arkansas finished 11-1 (only losing to Texas 13-9) in '77...and beat the Big 8 Champion Oklahoma (31-6) in the Orange Bowl. We got cheated as well.

Well, since the 2011 championship was a complete farce, I would say no.

it wasn't very competitive, that's for sure.

Yes, and its not close. Saban doesn't have anywhere near the advantages that Bear had. Bear had unlimited schollies & he could sell recruits on being in tv( Bama was the only team in the SEC to get national airtime consistently.

Oh, and even though Bama beat us, the score was 34-13. At least get the score right trash.

You sound butthurt. I wonder if you were even alive then or if you are one of those Bama teenage girls that wear a Houndstooth Hat.

If Bama goes undefeated this year, then there is no debating the fact it is the greatest dynasty in the history of AP era CFB. No team has come close to what Bama is doing right now except maybe OU or Nebraska
