Is this the first season A&M isn't really an Air Raid team under Sumlin?

I've seen a few of A&M games and their offensive philosophy appears to have changed from recent years. They still use a lot of gun, and they still sling the ball, but the concepts are much less of what I think of as Air Raid concepts. A&M's passing game looks less like Washington State's or Texas Tech's this year. Is this a function of Jake Spavital? I can't remember seeing this much tight end out of Sumlin. What's the 411?

Pretty much all their hires are shite hires. It's in their DNA.

It's not an air raid if your flight control is incompetent.

They are down about 5 attempts a game throwing and the YPA are higher because they are attacking more down the field, it looks like. I just don't see any of the combinations that I used to see out of them to attack the intermediate area. It is an interesting evolution. How is their pace of play this year?

Charlie Strong beats top 10 teams on the road. Sumlin gets embarrassed against top 10 teams. At home. Again.

Dude, are you for real? Your comments are so outlandish they aren't even near offensive.

To the OP, yes we are still primarily spread pass offense. Kyle Allen let go of too many bad passes against Alabama. Adjustments will be made.

We have no offensive identity.
We spent all offseason trying to develop the running game and failed.
We don't run uptempo.
We have suspect play calling.
If I had to define it, I'd say it's a 4 wide crapshoot.

Most Aggies including myself are not thrilled with Spavital. KK was more creative. But it helps when JFF is your QB.

Actually no, Last year wasn't really Air Raid either. Air Raid was KK's deal.

You mean like Bama 2012, SC 2014 and Auburn 2014? All ranked in the top 10? Two in the top 5?

You are really bad a trolling, if you are going to talk out of your arse so much, at least Google our record for half a minute and learn something.

Just responding to the dumbass aggy who was comparing Coach Strong to mid major Sumlin. If you can't see what Strong is building then you're blind. Sumlin is barely treading water. I'm sure they'll win 7-8 games and Sumlin will fire all his coordinators again. aggy under Sumlin is going nowhere. They only wish they had a coach like Charlie Strong who is building things the right way and not with some gimmick arse offense. Texas will win with a strong defense and strong running game.

Can't be an air raid team without a decent quarterback.

They're making due with what little they have on offense.

Somewhere there is a forum that cares about your obviously erroneous opinion. This is not that forum.

Just for the record though, I am glad you got that win too. They only thing that really scared me was Charlie getting fired after two years and y'all getting a splash hire like Chip Kelly. I was rooting for you in that OU game so Charlie sticks around a full three years and continues to push the program in a direction that is a completely opposite direction than high school football in Texas. The longer he sticks around, the longer it will take for the spread guy yall get to replace him to dig out of the mess.
