Living 25 mins from BYU's canpus,
No.
Thus year BYU is replacing their 5th year SR QB, their all time leading RB and all 3 starting WR's.

I like how Alabama fans have resorted to worrying about LSUs first game because they know Florida State is going to donkey punch them

You have been dick riding LSU all week.

They can. The only reason I have actual confidence that we will win is the amount of time Dave Aranda has to prepare for this game.

Never count out a mid-major as OU knows all too well: TCU 2005, Boise State (2007 Fiesta), BYU 2009, Houston 2016.

If Les Miles was the coach - absolutely.
I think LSU will beat them by double digits though.

BYU can certainly beat LSU but they shouldn't.
pretty much what probably 95% of people should think

I know you are thinking 29-9, but you really should be thinking 42-7. It's a mis-direction play going on here

FSU going in dry on Alabama, fact, but to answer your question, sure BYU can beat us. It's unlikely they will but yeah they can.

Whisky was a legit team last year, and LSU ran an offense based on an injured running back getting the ball every play.
I don't think BYU is close to what Wisconsin was last year.

Until we find a quarterback... anything can happen. I'm just not drinking the kool-aid this off season.

A lot of stupidity in this thread, but what else should we expect?
I'm not sure how 'stupidity in this thread' is your opinion.
LSU was saying the exact same thing last year going into the Wisconsin game and you know what? LSU lost. It isn't unfathomable.

I'm sure all the O haters and Gump alters pray that they do!

Sure any given day someone could lose.

Exactly.
BYU can most certainly win. Will they?
I don't know but I have to lean towards no. I think LSU has too much talent for BYU. Especially since this is, for all intents and purposes, a home game for LSU given the huge number of alumni in the Houston area.
Now, if the LSU offense stalls in the game and BYU gets a handful of big plays (Arkansas vs LSU in 2014/2015 as an example) then the Fighting Polygamists can certainly win. I am not betting the family farm on that happening though.
We will see what we see when the game happens.

Yes BYU can win... here is how. The BYU 25-year old OLmen will bulldoze LSU's defensive front until safety brought up to lend close run support. BYU then runs muti-motion and options short pass with quick openers - stays away from sweeps and outside plays - scores 24 points. Big question for LSU. Can they throw and catch? I don't think they can run over BYU with ground and pound (but might).. but the whole question will be settled if LSU cannot score more than 24 points and have at least a semi-balanced offense. The elephant in the room is individual and team discipline. BYU has it in spades... LSU under O looked pretty ad hoc and out of control in the Florida game for instance.
lol please stop, bud.

Not in Orgeron's opener. They are going to destroy BYU.
