You forgot LF7's 31 yds in a game.

How many of those did Henry have?

Common opponents... and Henry didn't play a defense anywhere near the strength of Bama's

79th Syracuse

109th South Carolina

126th Texas Tech

128th Eastern Michigan ...

These are some of the rushing defenses booger and LSU feasted on. Only 128 FBS teams and he played two more that were 90th and lower.

There is plenty of doubt. Down he stretch, Henry kicked arse and Fournette slumped especially in a head to head matchup. Henry won The Heisman because he was the best this year week in and week out. Get over it.

Sure, but Fournette had similar games against Arkansas and Ole miss, and better games against Auburn and Florida. Seems like the ordering of the schedule had a lot to do with that

However, without a lead blocking fullback, Fournette looked ordinary. I am a huge LSU supported, but it is crazy to keep harping on this when it is clear that Fournette simply did not have the games down the stretch to warrant a Heisman nod.

I don't care about the Heisman. I just think it's ridiculous to say Henry is better than fournette taking into account the offensive line discrepancy and common opponents

That is a fair statement!

Hell, Ingram had 30 yards against Auburn. Didn't stop him from winning the Heisman.

Henry didn't win the Heisman because he's the best player in the country. He won it because he's the feature back for a playoff team.

The only truly bad game Fournette had was against Alabama, and like I just covered, Ingram did the same to a much worse Auburn team in 2009 and still won the Heisman.

The NFL scouts say Fournette is a much better prospect.

I bet most Bama fans would trade Henry for Fournett

You may be right. The scary thing is that Fournette has areas in his game in which he can and will improve.

Henery was like a machine for bama down the stretch run.

The best _whatever_ hardly ever wins the heisman. It's the player on the BCS/Playoff team lately.

LF7 has next year. Derrick Henry will be gone.

If he wins I'll be happy for him. He's a great back.

I don't mind saying that Fournette has more pro potential. He has a quicker burst into the hole that RBs need at the next level. He's a back who could succeed in any system whereas Henry is going to need a team like Dallas or Houston that really wants to run inside a lot and let him wear people down.

That being said, Henry had an amazing year by any standard, and he deserves way more credit than he gets on this board for absolutely workhorseing his team into the playoffs.

You happy now? LF7 is good and you all shouldn't need this much validation.

If fournette played for bama,Henry wouldn't be the starter.period.if fournette ran it 45 times a game,he'did have 2500 yards.you're an idiot if you can't get that.Henry is great but fournette is better.

Also look at the number of carries it took him to get there
