There's no point trying to create some mathematical conversion between an SEC yard/tackle/touchdown/whatever and a nonSec yard/tackle/touchdown/whatever it is 100% opinion
Baylor had a great rush defense last year and Oakman was a big part of it. that argument is supported by actual statistics. is it easier to tackle a 3 or 4 star RB than it is to tackle a 4 or 5 star RB? sure, usually. It's still 180-220 pounds of human you have to move to the ground.

Yeah. What I was saying is that Baylor led the Big12 in rushing attempts, and you guys didn't face many (any?) teams who were really good at running the football.
I'm not talking about the quality of the players, just the effectiveness of the teams you played at running the ball.

I've always been of the opinion the team you play the most is yours. But your point is valid. Fewer tests. Although the best rushing team Baylor played last year was Oklahoma, Id say they deserve an 'A' for that game.

Now, let's look at Baylor's rush defense when placed against offenses listed in the aforementioned schools:
vs. TCU (34): 41 carries for 139 yards and 4 TD (3.4 ypc)
at West Virginia (43): 50 carries for 134 yards and 2 TD (2.68 ypc)
at Oklahoma (10): 33 carries for 171 yards (5.18 ypc)
vs. Michigan State (19): 46 carries for 238 yards and 4 TD (5.17 ypc)
Against the only "traditional" run team Baylor played in 2014, they got mauled in the run game.
Oh, and here's the coup de grace:
West Virginia had 32 carries for 126 yards and 0 touchdowns (3.93 ypc)...against Texas A&M, one of the worst rush defenses in the country.

you have to throw to stay on the field. Baylor had 2 fewer rush attempts last year than LSU
Baylor also had 519 pass attempts (good for fourth)
LSU on the other hand recorded 276 pass attempts (good for 120th)

Those are from the NCAA website and are based on yards per game.
