Solid hire, good fit for LSU.

The rational LSU fans seem reasonably excited and optimistic.

Every fan base is loaded with those who overreact to everything -- good or bad.

LSU had an almost unwatchable offense for nearly 10 years and now made an exciting and promising OC hire under the new regime. Why would LSU fans not be hyped?

O is still the head coach.

He may be...especially since the hype is so great...

HOWEVER, don't be fooled by the gumps downplaying this. Hell, the day before he was hired SEC network Opey was going on and on about what a homerun hire he would be for Bama.

Georgia, are you pathetic cousin lovers serious? If you guys were smart, which you are NOT! You wouldn't want to pizz anyone else in the league off unless they are tigers from anywhere other than Louisiana. Hasbeens!

Hilarious and boarderline retarded. Hey,I think its a good hire and I hope he'll be a success at LSU.
My main point is that if he's successful as everybody thinks he'll be I doubt he'll last all that long and back to square one with coach O.Eventually it all comes back to your HC and his capabilities. Some are good enough to sustain losing key assistants others not so much.

Never seen so much hype for an OC hire in my life

I feel like an impossible bar is being set.

Really? Seems par for the course, although this hype does seem to be a little more than in the past.

When Chavis was hired it was the same thing.

When Steele was hired it was the same thing.

When Cam Cameron was hired it was the same thing.

There's always a bunch of fanfare along with a coordinator hire. Don't worry, first 3 and out, those ones gushing right now will be losing their shite.

As a head coach, yeah. Not as a offensive coordinator, unlike the clown you idiots just hired.

he's a OC. not a homerun, not a failure, but a OC.

You shut your whore mouth. J/K- yes there is always a chance but LSU was put in a tough spot because of the situation with Lane Train.

Shhh. They're so happy right now.

What a surprise...all the fricking Gumps show up spewing the same bullshite. Miles is gone which is an immediate improvement for our offense. Kiffin is leaving Gumpville which will be a downgrade for your offense. Either he sucks and it won't be a big loss for Bama or he's the GOAT and LSU didn't get him. It can't be both you stupid fricking Gumps.

Yes, LSU hires one of the Top 10 innovative and progressive OC's in the country, who is getting great reviews from current and ex-players/coaches and Sports Media Analysts.

We're not supposed to be hyped over this hire?

Throw us a bone every now and then, huh?

Right off the bat, Canada called Myles Brennan and today he (Brennan) shut down his recruitment and say's he's 100% a Tiger.

O Canaranda will be Money!

I think it's a good hire, but am slightly concerned about O's hidden motives...

Why is he collecting all of these bald coaches?
