As long as the SEC dominates in recruiting year in and year out as a conference, your fan base will remain arrogant. Why shouldn't they?

Sports fans are arrogant by nature, at least the dedicated ones are. Fire the football coach, fire the basketball coach, fire the baseball coach; fire the batting instructor so we can lord over the other teams fan base.

Which of UGA's 2 losses came from an OOC opponent

Did UGA not lose their bowl game? Serious question? I know they lost to Michigan State and Boise the previous year and I thought they lost in 2012 also

the fact that the SEC has proven for the last few years that the conference is the best, then the attitude is completely justified imho.

if the rest of the CFB world doesn't like it - they are certainly capable of trying to do something about it.

Urban Meyer was a part of the best until he decided he didn't feel like it anymore. Feels like an archetypical Judas.

Outside of a the NC game, which one year consisted of two SEC teams, I would say the SEC has been a 2 team league since 2010.

Though their capability is certainly up for debate.

and? success nowadays are measured on who wins the titles. not to completely disregard your points, because they are valid - but at the end of the day the only real measuring stick of the Conferences that anyone really pays attention to are championships.

if I am wrong, ill gladly own my mistake.

Confidence, arrogance who cares? I believe there is sufficient reason to be btw. No one believes it can stay this way, but if the way we act gets under the skin of OOC fans. I'm all for it.

No. We're just better than them.

Dont think there's a right or wrong answer.

It's just that listening to people talk about the SECFB has become pointless. There's no objectivity. There's just the assumption that any team that plays in the SEC is good by default, which Auburn fans can testify is certainly not true

Well judging by the draft and the national team recruiting rankings last year and this coming year, we are cementing our status at the top.

LSU & UGA both lost to OOC opponents last year. Specifically, UGA has lost to OOC opponents in each of the past two years despite representing the SECe in the SEC Championship game

LSU straight quit last year. If we played Clemson in a game that mattered we would've rolled.

UGA always underachieves.

the sec has been way too arrogant for a while. just look at how people reacted when fricking miss state, lsu, and uf lost their bowl games. ESPN went ape shite. best conference? yes, but it isnt this unbeatable monster where the worst teams would challenge for conference championships in the other power conferences

That would make most other conferences one or zero league teams though.

But our 4th/5th best team would. (A&M last year)

I think what is perceived as arrogance is for the most part SEC fans simply explaining truth. That truth plays itself out for the most part.

Is it arrogance if its justified or are we just not as modest in success as people would like us to be?
