Or does the pressure come from the administration.

Either way, LSU recruiting seems to be taking a hit because of that real or imaginary pressure. Kinda feel bad for Les having to go through this while trying to recruit. But at the same time it's humorous to think the spoiled LSU fans are self inflicting their own wounds.

They are essentially one in the same. The AD feels pressure from the fanbase.

Unfortunately for the University and athletic department, they failed to take into account the fact that LSU has the most fickle fanbase in America.

Well IMO it's either real or they have the biggest a-hole ad in the country. He's said nothing - to my knowledge anyway- during all this drama and rumors which leads me to believe les is on his way out.

Only in the form of ticket and merchandise sales.

Yep and you know all their recruits are wondering how long Les will last. Sad to say that all signs point to Les being a goner.

Sad for you, the Arkansas fan. I'm sure you would like him to stay after the two beatdowns administered the last two years.

The administration could squash the rumors easily enough. Smoke, fire, yada yada yada.

If it is Fisher, LSU recruiting will be just fine moving forward. We might lose a little this year but its hard to see LSU out of the top 4 or 5 this year.

Les is gone. Deal is apparently done.

Sad day for the Tigers.

Jimbo already took the LSU job, just like miles to Michigan again.

Self-inflicting our own wounds? If they replace Miles then a hit to the recruiting class recruited by Miles comes with the territory. You don't retain a coach because you don't want to lose any of his current recruiting class. This shite is chess not checkers. Now if they don't replace Miles then we've self-inflicted our wounds.

A good hire will be able to hold most of the class together anyhow. We've been losing with top recruiting classes for some time now.

Les is a victim of his own success... Boosters are tired of his conservative, stale offense that has no plan b

Jimbo seems like a lesser, no class version of Les

LSU is making a huge mistake if true

It's simple :
His name is not Les Miles. Beyond that, not much else.

A much more recent championship in which he beat the SEC champion.

Four QB's in a row that were extremely high draft picks and led well balanced college offenses.

Consistent NFL caliber recruiting classes.

Other than that, nothing.

The guy's has become a millionaire from coaching football, will get a hefty buyout if they let him go and could probably pick his HC job at any of the teams looking for one... He's going to be okay.
