You program wasn't good enough to make up for his short comings as a coach to warrant keeping him for an extended time period.
When you do have a decent HC, another SEC school like Auburn takes him from you.

Which he put more players in the nfl than Arkansas ever has.. also.. he was dline coach at usc as well i think
