FYI the "spike squad" or whatever has never been a UGA thing. Obviously, just like at many schools, you have a group on the front row of the student section that will paint up. I guess a few years back this particular group decided to wear spikes for whatever reason. I'm sure in a few years when they've all left there will be some new thing people do.

I just can't take those guys seriously. One kid dropped out of our pledge class and didn't know a damn thing about UGA football and then 3 years later he joins the spike squad and is bitching that they "deserved" SECCG tickets because they were they best fans
