Alabama - Clemson
South Carolina - FSU
LSU - Virginia Tech
Texas AM - Miami
Georgia - UNC
Florida - Georgia Tech
Ole Miss - Maryland
Vandy - Virginia
Tennessee - NC State
Mississippi State - Boston College
Arkansas - Pitt
Missouri - Duke
Kentucky - Wake Forest

Seems like the SEC easily wins 10 of those.

Alabama and Clemson would be a tough one, but my fandom says, "Bama pulls it out in the fourth."

FSU would beat South Carolina

LSU probably beats Tech

Georgia beats UNC

Miami and A&M would be a bar burner.

Florida can't score and Tech might get them.

I could go on, but none of those top 6 are guaranteed, easy wins.

Tech has first rate D, and a putrid offense. They're middle of the road ACC at best.

SEC locks IMO

Auburn - Syracuse

Close, but SEC favored

Kentucky - Wake Forest

ACC lock

SEC should go 11-3 against that slate imo

Think the argument could be made.

Today coupled with the Clemson win over Georgia as well as the Virginia Tech win over Alabama...

Wait, what was the question?

Week 01
South Carolina 27 beat North Carolina 10
Alabama 35 beat Virginia Tech 10
Clemson 38 beat Georgia 35

Week 02
Miami 21 beat Florida 16

SEC = 2 / ACC = 2
Hardly a ringing endorsement of the ACC being the premier conference over the SEC considering :

a) Clemson won by 3 @ Clemson so hardly a ringing endorsement of supremacy. Played at UGA or neutral and Clemson could easily have lost
b) Miami won by 5 @ Miami on 5 Gator turnovers. Not a sign of supremacy in any sense
c) South Carolina beat North Carolina by 17
d) Alabama beat Virginia Tech by 25

SEC could easily be 4-0 instead of 2-2

Big Six

1. Alabama or Clemson
2. LSU or Florida State
3. A&M or Miami
4. South Carolina or North Carolina
5. Georgia or VaTech
6. Florida or GaTech

I'll take the SEC

Bottom Four:

Syracuse or Vandy
Duke or Miss St
BC or Mizzou
Pitt or Kentucky

Eh, probs still SEC

No doubt the ACC is stronger than the SEC this year and will remain that way thru the season.

Agree on coaching - especially at Fla. St. They basically have done what A&M did with Slocum. Just year after year found a way to lose a game to stay out of the big game. The Noles will finally bust through on talent alone but damn the coachi8ng has been bad.

Based on what I've seen today, Clemson will destroy SC and FSU will destroy UF. Miami did not look good - UF totally shite the bed. The rest of the ACC is mediocre at best. SEC is still top to bottom unequalled.

Clemson would beat Alabama right now (maybe not by the end of the season).

The strongest team in the country at this moment is A&M

No, it is not the premiere conference.

Nor is it the premier conference.
