Arkansas' offense is every bit as anemic as our defense.

Out recruits LSU but can't beat LSU. Funny how that works.

He would have made them a force. Dude can coach and has a lot of Texas ties.

My original comment was in reference to the two guys you lost this week and the ensuing aggie reaction that took place. It's not like I am going out on some limb and trashing your defense for no apparent reason. I also may have glanced at the thread on your board and the reactions there.

Just think about how much Briles reportedly HATES Texas A&M, and combine that with how much we know Arkansas hates Texas A&M. That would have been epic.

A&M hasn't recruited better than LSU in the last five years, and A&M is one place ahead of LSU this year and the recruiting season isn't close to being over.

What facts?

Apparently some of you A&M folks have really bought-in to the recruiting ranking fever. Lsu and Bama laughs at you man.

Everytime Arkansas has a great momentum push based off a highly successful season, they find a way to shoot themselves in the knee. Its nobodies fault but their own.

Houston Nutt for example.... recruited a top 5 quarterback, and reciever in Damien Wiliams and Mitch Mustain. Guess who their offensive coordinator was? Gus Malzahn. Not to rehash all of that but he screwed over all 3 of them, who then all departed, and Nutt got canned a short time later. They werent able to duplicate any sort of success until they got Bobby Petrino who in turn....

decided after another fantastic season of double digit wins and BCS bowl, carried on with that whole affair ending in a motorcycle accident.

Its nobodies fault but their own...

It's the truth. Most first round draft picks this year were 3 stars. And teams play above their ranking every year. It's about coaching and talent scouting.

LSU and Bama do this on another level. That's why we produce the most draft picks.

They'll learn like Ole Miss did.

A&M knows that they won't be as good without Johnny and Evans. Those two alone won a couple of games. If they can keep recruiting like this though, they will compete with LSU and Alabama every year.

Wow,recruiting rankings mean nothing in June. How many of your last 4 classes were ranked better than LSU or Bama.

These two events were two years apart. You're trying to make it sound like it was decades apart.

A&M has what? 4 straight years of players picked in the top ten overall? I think we are familiar with how this works.

well no shite, there are so many more three stars than four or five. the percentages of four and five star kids drafted in the first round were higher than three and lower

Alabama, florida state, etc seem to do a pretty damn good job recruiting elite talent

and having legit talent
