It may just be the SC fans on here are reasonable. But I think their message boards these days have a more realistic optimism to them.

I remember when many actually thought Corey Jenkins would be in NYC at the end of the 2002 season after one win that year.

Just seems like Tennessee has taken over that unrealistic expectations thing that S. Carolina used to have cornered.

Am I wrong here?

I think its more like Tennesse fans are in the same denial as Nebraska fans at his point.

Good lord, Tenner has cornered the market on unrealistic expectations for most of the current century.

Nebraska fans were saying the same things as Tennessee fans after they boat raced NorthWestern 56-7 last season.

Tennessee is at that stage now.

Tennessee has been unrealistic for waaaay longer than South Carolina. I feel like their fanbase has a good grasp on reality of where they stand currently.

I don't recall any South Carolina fans asking posters on the rant to post their height, weight, and athletic accomplishments because people were making fun of their coach.

TN hasn’t beat an AP top 10 team since 2006

Pretty sure South Carolina has since then. Just saying…

If you think that's saying I'm wrong, read again.

Tennessee is the new Donald Trump. Can he/they come back? No, but we are still worried, we are really worried.

Sadly this is right

As a fan of the reigning national champs and kings of the sec, I was feeling really good about another run this year. Especially since our defense exposed that overrated Bama offense and suffocated that soy boy fraud Bryce so bad that he couldn’t even score 20 points, I am not worried about Bama any more.

But Tennessee has a ton of speed and look like the real deal right now. I’m more worried about them than any other team in the sec right now.

Again, it was some trolls and LSU fans that start these "We're back" threads. Most of us that actually watch the games are in the 7-9 range for our predictions.

Are you new to this board, and the majority of the UT posters on here? Including their many alters?

Meh, they have a right to be optimistic this season. No reason to s*** on them for that
