Yep it is.

Nope probably not.

even close to being on the verge of the verge of the verge of pitching a hissy fit.
Well you sure wrote a lot of text and added some unnecessary insults to tell me you're not throwing a "hissy fit," which was incidentally the phrase you initially used to describe a hypothetical that didn't happen (so who has no idea).
But you seem quite proud of your ability to be emotional and irrational so don't let me stop you
Well then, in that case good sir...you just easily surpassed hissy fit status and entered, quite convincingly, conniption fit territory.

Even in my conniption fit, I don't buy into conspiracy theories that teams are taking out best players because of a couple freak injuries.
What does it say about your logical-reasoning when you resort to the illogical, despite being in an admittedly calm state?

There's actually a post CNB started on the SCAR board apologizing to us for this bet..
I just updated it with the link you provided as well as a list in the text of my post listing those who still need to pay up. Damn...the Superbowl cannot get here fast enough!! This is all Spurrier's fault.

'Star' DT is a bit of a stretch

There's a lot of history here, but obviously, the Marcus Lattimore injury still stands out for a lot of South Carolina fans, that still consider the High/Low tackle on Latt21 a dirty hit.
Lattimore wasn't a dirty hit, no matter how much you want it to be, neither was Chubb.

Shut up, V&S...before I throw a brick at your motherfricking head.
Oh..and that ugly arse puke orange "T" next to my name is offensive. (Too bad we weren't more "offense"ive during the game Saturday...then you'd have a glorious SCAR logo next to your name)
<3 ya, mean it!!

Hey, if y'all want to complain about Brian Randolph, I'm sitting in complete agreement. He should totally sit out the North Texas game.
But when y'all start bringing up Lattimore, saying dirty plays are the reason he's doing SC Lottery commercials now, that's where I draw the fricking line.

USCe tears are becoming the tastiest tears.
USCe tears are hamburger. When all you have had to eat for six years has been rice and beans, hamburger tastes pretty damn good. Vols have only tasted rice and bean tears for the last several years, so they USCe tears taste pretty damn good.
I typed that between bites of the juicy, 24 ounce ribeye I've been working on the last 24 hours.

Pretty much this.

It wasn't a cheap shot that injured Chubb.
It was the cheap lousy turf.
The groundskeepers who maintain Neyland Stadium need to do something about the poor quality of their turf.

I kinda agree with this too. Especially after watching the game on Saturday. I don't care who you are, playing on slippery turf all the time is unacceptable.

The SEC front office can add time to specifically egregious targeting or other unsportsmanlike penalties. They have the right to suspend a player under Southeastern Conference Constitution Article, 4.4.2 (d) which states that
There are many out there that think this rises to that level, so this may not be over.
quote:
When it comes to the attention of the Commissioner that a student-athlete may be guilty of committing a flagrant, disqualifying foul on the field of play or at a contest site, or may be guilty of any unsportsmanlike act, the Commissioner may rule the student-athlete ineligible permanently or for a fixed period, or the Commissioner may, with or without publicity, warn the student-athlete and the student-athlete’s coach and member institution that, if there is a repetition of such conduct, the student-athlete could be ruled ineligible permanently;
There are many out there that think this rises to that level, so this may not be over.

Butch Jones: SEC should add appeals process for targeting suspensions
Of COURSE he'd want that. The foreshadowing in that article is undeniable.

So...one late hit on a receiver makes UT the "dirtiest team in the league"?
Hi/Low tackle on a running back???? I don't remember anyone saying they thought the tackle on Lattimore was dirty at the time.

If it was just one, I'd agree.

It was a boneheaded play. The Chubb, Lattimore, and Marshall injuries were unfortunate and unintentional. Cooper was just fine on Saturday, but it didn't stop UT from winning their 3rd straight in the series.

Cause it wasn't and neither was Chubb. They just want something to cry about
