His stock had to take a big drop after yesterdays game. Even more if they loose next week.

My lord, how can so many people not know the difference between lose and loose?

One does have to question how good of a coach Sumlin really is. I mean at Houston he took over what Briles established and had Case Keenum ballin' for him. Now he has Johnny Manziel to roll with. Has had shite defense at Houston and A&M.

he is either terrible and is going to frick us when manziel leaves. or he is the best but he is leaving this year and we are fricked after. can the rant just choose one narrative and stick to it please? thanks

I have never been %100 sold on Sumlin and have always gave the credit to Manziel. The guy is amazing.

i think he is alright, and is going to be fricked when manziel leaves. Whether he is fricked in college station or elsewhere is beyond me.

But a lot of those plays Johnny made last night don't happen wiht a even a slightly less elusive QB

No. They might take a cursory glance, but reject him pretty quickly.

He's let Manziel get away with a lot of crap over the past year, and USC is coming off a probation. If the Trojans step back up (and it sure looks like they can), that threatens Oregon immensely. And keep in mind just how much Nike dough is floating around behind the Ducks; they won't just stand by and watch USC reclaim the Pac 12.

The last thing USC needs is to bring in someone who can't keep a lid on things, and Sumlin let JFF run apeshit for the last year.

There is one major reason all the talking heads want him for USC, and its not his coaching ablity. Its the same reason the Vikings coach is not on hot seat.

More importantly, how in the frick did we allow 2 players to put up so many yards on us, but LSU's secondary owned them both? WTF?!?!?

Cam was in a different stratosphere than Manziel. LSU did lose to Tebow in Chavis' first season here when Florida scored a whopping 13 points against a depleted LSU defense.

Nice try.

Bama fan hoping that Sumlin leaves cause the mighty midget Saban can't figure out how to stop him.

Amusing.

See what I mean?

But congrats on yet another season as an SEC West also-ran. At least you get to play Florida next year.

You're a moron even as far as random LSU posters go.

unfortunately Bert wasn't gifted the talent Sumlin was, most notably JFF. your fall off begins next year, if he's even there.

Bret Bielema prior to taking over at Arkansas:

Over 7 seasons:

68-24 record
3 conference championships
2-4 bowl record

Dennis Franchione prior to taking over at Texas A&M:

Over 7 seasons:

57-27 record
3 conference championships
3-2 bowl record

Looks pretty similar to me, so we can only assume that:

Bret Bielema = Dennis Franchione

Congrats, Arkansas...you've got a KEEPER.
