No, not even close. A&M generally does not like firing people in general. I don't think Childress has won a game in the CWS yet, and Billy Kennedy has been terrible (although did grab DJ Hogg in recruiting who will probably be a beast). On top of that, Sumlin just got PAID and has proven that he can recruit the state of Texas very well. Snyder will be fired way before Sumlin is.

"Hard fall back to reality"? Are you serious? Praying to get back into the womb by the middle of the first quarter seems more accurate.

Another of the innumerable traditions at Texas A&M is not criticizing the players. They're just college kids, after all.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahhahaa!!!!!
Good one!!! We should all emulate fans of one of the NCAA's dirtiest programs. There are numerous posts on this website in the past 24 hours that break this "tradition". Just because you say something is a tradition doesn't make it so.

Why is that relevant? I for one am proud we compensate our players instead of abiding by the NCAA's dumb rules

Fair play for fair work. This stupid "student-athlete" bullshite is just thinly veiled communism.

You quoted an article from 2011 from a fan of a team currently under NCAA investigation??

Can't be, A&M has deep pockets to keep Sumlin away from everybody else.

I mean if anything those numbers prove we support our players more than many other schools by paying them so much money under the table

In all fairness, we should all get back to reality. All Aggies with realistic expectations knew that joining the SEC was going to mean 5, 7, maybe even 10 years before we became competitive. It did for Arkansas and South Carolina; it would for us. The phrase "100 Year Decision" was carefully crafted.
Then the football gods smiled on us and we all got giddy. Sumlin's speed spread offense and Johnny Football combined to break all the rules. Now it's back to Year Three in the SEC. Truth is, we're probably right where we ought to be now.
I've been an Aggie since 1980. I've seen Rice win at Kyle. I'm not going anywhere; we're all in for the long haul. It's all good and it's great to be a Texas Aggie.
I just wish we could find someone who could teach our defenders to tackle.

could you imagine if LSU/Les Miles lost that game 59-0, the criticism
Everyone on this website would be pointing and laughing...especially A&M fans
59-0 would be enough for me to say I'm not coming back for a while

Correct. Saying it and keeping it are ALL required of tradition.
