Lifetime of all the players of your team. Most accurate measure of the direction of the programs. Games from before 1938 don't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

You beat us in the 90s. Im soooo mad.
Kentucky owned us at that same time period. Everyone did. Congrats on your programs one stretch of relevance coinciding with the darkest days of LSU. Theres a long history dating back to 1899 between LSU and A&M. In the LSU A&M series from the era of the AP poll until 1991 A&M was like State to us. A bug waiting to be crushed. 23-8-1.
In the two best years your program has had since 2000 we have beaten you in your own state.
Its ok to hold on to the 90s little brother. You and auburn can exchange stories about their times in the early 2000s and yours back in the 90s.

You think head to head matchups is the most accurate way to measure the direction of two programs?

Why is 1938 the cut off?

Funny. During this time period LSU also had a huge ROTC/Military presence/culture.
That didn't stop us from having a top football program from the 30's-the 80's and from the 00's-since.
The 90's are our lone blemish and your lone bright spot.

The Ole War Skule put more officers in WWII than any school outside of the military academies. Mandatory ROTC till 1969.
ETA: TAMUs corps of cadets became voluntary in 1964........

Don't know what that means, but The Corps of Cadets put in more than the Naval Academy and Military Academy combined, so I'm guess that still puts you behind us. That is if counting works the same way down in the swamps. I'm not exactly sure.

I agree, if he hangs around at A&M for a while, which I figure he will, then I think he could be a top 5 all-time coach.

Nobody gives a flying frick about your military pride 70 years ago. This is a football discussion in 2013
