It's a fricking never-ending cycle of rantard delusion.

you forgot "now that JFF is gone, Sumlin will be exposed as riding JFF's coattails"

Yes.

Rumor has it that if Sumlin wins by at least three scores, Jason Garrett will be out of a job, effective immediately.

Must be some conflicting reports... I heard that if Sumlin can get Bo Neiderhoefer (spelling sucks irl) to feed fat Bert $83 dollars worth of hot dogs (not Jerry's pricing, wholesale value) then Jerry will give The Cobra the position during halftime.

Supposedly our team will come out in the third quarter wearing Cowboys uniforms after Sumlin accepts the position.

The cowboys will win the game, and A&M's team as we know it will be no more. All signed to the cowboys roster.

The NFL is too stupid to realize all the innovative coaches are in college. I think it will take Philly winning or at least making a superbowl; then I would expect the NFL to come after coaches like Sumlin in earnest.

NFL has already pursued Sumlin. He turned Philly down once. And they aren't the only team.

He'd have to shite the bed to be a prime candidate for the Cowboys job.

When the NFL is prepared to offer Sumlin the control he needs and the money he deserves, he will go. If the NFL was smart they would have done that already, they haven't, he didn't, they are dumb.

Problem with that, is that now we like winning. We will pay whatever outrageous amount of money it would take to keep him in Aggieland.

Enjoy it.

Jesus you guys are defensive. All I'm saying is Sumlin is an amazing coach who should be garnering more attention from the NFL.

I think coaches like Sumlin are looking at the NFL and how they are handling young QBs like Manziel and thinking, 'these guys are dinosaurs'.

And they are. The NFL has to adjust to the playstyle that is proving so effective in college because college is their talent source. The assumption that college players should adjust to the way the NFL is playing football is a perfect example of dogmatism.

I'm not advocating Sumlin bail on A&M, I just see it as an eventuality. He is still pretty young, It's hard to imagine he doesn't have the itch to try to succeed in the NFL.

I don't think any college program could steal him from A&M, but the money thing can't compensate for the different platform that the NFL is.
