No. SC plays in the East. West is much tougher. You can have a better team and program than a team in the East and still lose more games in the West.

As someone once said, the West is a bitch!

You're joking, right?

They are not more consistent. Three years doesn't mean jack, AND they play in the SEC East.

During their glorious run, they've won the SEC East one time, and got annihilated in the SECCG.

USCe has improved a lot, but they can't touch LSU when it comes to overall program quality.

LSU is the better "program" and would be even if we had won an NC this year, the term includes more than just one or a few seasons, it's a history of winning, facilities, recruiting etc...we're not on LSU's level yet or really any of the big six but we're on the right track.

Now did we have a better team this year? I don't know and I don't really care. LSU isn't a team I often think about.

Nah, not a better program, but our teams are pretty equal lately. They've got more talent, we've got a coaching edge.

No. LSU was in NC game in '11 and has played in similar bowls last 2 years. SC looking up at Bama, LSU and Auburn right now.

Lol wut? They have the same amount of wins over the last three years and USC has one more loss. Consistency isn't proven over just three years anyways.

But just to remind you, both teams have been pretty good over the last five years, but LSU has been a bit better.

LSU's last five years:

2009: 9-4
2010: 11-2
2011: 13-1
2012: 10-3
2013: 10-3

Overall: 53-13

USC's last five years:

2009: 7-6
2010: 9-5
2011: 11-2
2012: 11-2
2013: 11-2

Overall: 49-17

We are now. If we played LSU we would destroy them. Spurrier has finally got the talent he needs.

LOL. Mizzou, Bama, LSU, Auburn and UGA are all better than you right now.

How do you figure that? We already beat Mizzou and would beat UGA "right now" and it's not as if LSU was unquestionably dominant this year. They beat Iowa by 7 points. Iowa. By 7.

Iowa's 2 TD drives combined for 6 yards. And our offense was one-dimensional with a True FR QB against a decent defense.

Not exactly the bench mark game to prove a point.

IMO we would've beat y'all this year, but as far as entire program, y'all have a lot more hardware, so no.

South Carolina is a side show. Always have been. Always will be.
You're the one that thought we'd be an 8-5 team this season. Were we a sideshow when we rolled y'all in Columbia by 2 TDs?

True.

I forgot about the East.

They would be a 4 loss team in the West.

Or, at least 3 losses.

Nevermind.

HEY WE WENT UNDEFEATED AGAINST THE SEC-LEST THIS SEASON, PEEPLEZ...

3 straight 11 win seasons.

They have not won a championship, but they are more consistent.

Who is the better program right now?

I think it might be South Carolina.

Thoughts?

1 more win a year in the east? No

I guess not.

I agree. LSU is still better.

I am impressed with USC's 3 straight 11 win seasons, though.

Well done.
