Damn good to Great coach, Amazing recruiter.

I don't even know that he is all that great of a recruiter. UAT recruits to itself, pretty much. Sabans recruiting classes at Michigan State weren't all that...I believe a coach like Hugh Freeze would do just as well at BAMA as Saban has done.

Maybe at the time at Michigan state he wasn't a great recruiter. But that was what we'll over a decade ago?

Saban could go to ANY power5 school and bring in a top 10 class at this point in his career.

Also will OP quit posting after Bama beats State today and OM ends their season to keep them home from Atl?

Any great coach would have known to put somebody in on that field goal team who could have prevented Auburn from running it all the way back & winning the Iron Bowl... Of course Saban didn't though and he lost Alabama the 3-peat. He never seems prepared for big games like when Utah whooped his butt in the Superdome or Oklahoma smashing them. Saban is a good coach but he's not a great coach. Dawgs whoop Bama bigtime this weekend. State - 34 Alabama - 13 HA1LSTATE!

bump. Good call!
