Is Ridley better than Cooper at this point in career?

I know 7 games in, but he is one of the most impressive freshmen WR I have seen.

In terms of yards, yes. I checked last week and Cooper had slightly higher YPC at this point and a couple more touchdowns, thanks to a monster game against Tennessee. They are very very similar, though.

He's not even the best freshman in the conference.

He's only about six months younger.

He's not as good of a route runner, no one in CFB is, but he's really good and has arguably better production so far. However he's only half a year younger than Coop is...right now.

They remind me of each other- I am impressed with Ridley making right adjustments for balls. No expert like others here, but he really gets offense it seems. The Kirk kid is more electric, but novice view more impressed with Ridley grasp of offense.

Considering they are the same age, I'd say no because Cooper is in the NFL

Lol wow had no idea he was almost 21
That does change it
Why is he so old?

Na man, it has been a point of debate on the Bama board

Obliviously a good player but please strike comparison

He's also like 27, so it shouldn't be that surprising how well the "freshman" is playing.

Why is he so old? How much eligibility does he have?

Cooper was so good as a freshman, had injury troubles as a sophomore though.

Cuban transplants, legit got lost at sea trying to make it to Miami.
Took a bit, but finally got found. His younger brother Cavin is also older, he was dangerously close to being ineligible to play HS ball. Calvin couldn't play most of his senior year because of his age.
