Just reading his wiki page and here are some tid bits.
quote:
After only one season at Louisville, Petrino secretly interviewed for the coaching job at Auburn, as the Tigers were considering whether to retain his former boss, Tuberville.

On January 7, 2007, less than six months after signing the 10-year contract above, it was announced Petrino had accepted the head coaching position for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.
quote:
Petrino was in a Falcons team meeting when he told his staffers that he was hungry and left to get something to eat. Hours later, he still hadn’t returned. Staffers were extremely worried but then a staffer broke the news that he was being introduced as the new Head Coach of Arkansas on TV.

Yes coming from a Falcons fan whose first year as a season ticket holder was that year

Not to mention he took the UNLV job and then turned around to be the A&M OC.

I don’t know about slimiest coaches, but he’s the king of ulterior motives….

He’s a classless piece of shite but his neck brace presser is one of the greatest things in this conference’s history

He's never ordered a manager up into a high forklift on a very windy day and killed him.

Petrino has never broken an NCAA rule. Say what you will, but his record is clean

Pretty much makes Satan look like a choir boy

In hindsight he’s just a talentless and harmless Coach O.

He is a saint compared to some coaches today.

He was the pioneer of the transfer portal era. The rest of the game has since caught up. Trailblazer.

I don't remember any of his players at Arkansas committing the act of murder.
