If Freeze can consistently pull top 10 recruiting classes like he most likely will this year, we have a chance to compete in the future. Freeze improved 4 games on Nutt with mostly the same group of players. Nutt went to Atlanta twice with similar talent to what we most likely will have in the next 2-3 years. Will we win the west? Long shot. Will we have the talent and a coach who generally knows what he's doing to compete vs Bama, LSU, and Texas A&M, decent chance.

We are what we are, but our football program has had a lot more success! All they have is their 1 trip to Atlanta.

I have not seen any Ole Miss fan seriously talking shite. We all know we are rebuilding. But there was a period where Alabama was not a dominate force, before Saban got there. One coach, and recruiting genius turned that program around. I think it is foolish to think some teams can rise while others cannot. Look at FL, they didn't do shite before the 90's, now look at them, competing for the SEC East Champ spot and won a few National Titles. It only takes a couple special players, a good coach, and decent recruiting class or two and you have a shot. Look at Auburn with Cam Newton. People love to hate on the rivals and that's fine, but to ignore progress in an opponent is foolish.
To clarify with Bama fans, I am inferring to the period after "The Bear" was there, or whatever you call that good coach u had.

If Ole Miss can continue to recruit well under Freeze and if Ross Bjork continues to put money into the program....give the coaches what they need, then Ole Miss will be in good shape.
