People keep saying this.

Missouri will not win the SEC championship and will probably not win the East for a long time.

But that job will pay more than a million a year. Any amount of success there will provide the opportunity to move on to better programs. I bet fifty agents have already left messages for the Black Minister of Diverse Hiring for the Athletic Department.

Alright, no up and coming or relatively good coach will take that job. That accurate enough for you?

Barry Odom won't take the job?

He is all of those things you just said and I'm almost certain he will.

He's a Mizzou guy, I'm thinking he's likely solid with Mizzou.

He would have likely gotten a HC job at a smaller school paying 1/3 of what we pay.

He'll be our next head coach. It's our only move.

It isn't always about the money.

With the way Mizz is right now, I wouldn't touch that job.

not a great place to start being a head coach. the model now is to start at a lower place and move up. people usually want head coach experience when hiring at a P5. the next coach will have to be black and he will have to say it's ok to strike whenever you want and listen to racist black mobs whims or they will get you fired... idk anyone who will want this job

You would if you were already coaching there, had a chance to be a HC for the first time at your alma mater and were offered 3+M/year

This shite will pass eventually anyway.

LOL. Keep telling yourself this.

Mizzou will promote DC Barry Odom, promote DL coach Craig Kuligowski to DC - and with no pressure to retain the entire coaching staff - will makeover the offensive side of the staff to his liking.

This could very well be the dawn of the next, greater level of Mizzou football.

Better believe if the next coach does something to offend the students he will be gone.

All it takes is one misquote or misinterpreted action.

They're going to have to hire a coach that is damaged goods or a nobody who wants a head coaching job.

You can only hope. They've been running through the SEC East since coming to town.
