I'm done caring about your obsession. I'll still engage when I want. I can turn it on and off.

I'm sure you don't understand.

Those are your alumni? They were real students?

I thought it was a joke. I figured no school would ever be let into the SEC that was that whitebread.

The expansion makes even less sense to me all of the sudden

They are some of our finest alumni. We take great pride of their success here at Mizzou. In fact, our student union has a large mural to commemorate them, which students are required to visit and bow down to once per week.

I don't doubt that, but my original comments/concerns still stand

I really didn't think college students would make a video quite that lame and actually post it

At least you cared at some point. It didn't look like Haith and the crew cared tonight

Seeing as Arky is the league's utmost expert on decline from basketball prowess to total ineptitude, I would certainly defer to your expertise gained from first hand experience, Hammy, regarding what stage we are at.

The OP from your own fanbase posited that we are dying hence acknowledging that we have been previously alive. Just guessing, I'd imagine it was some time during the last five years when we were playing in NCAA tournaments while Arky was sitting home. Just a guess.

Seeing as Mizzou has never been highly regarded on a national stage I don't think any comparison can be made...

Never. Us Mizzou fans have great shame in our school deep down but we have learned how to rationalize and justify our shortcomings and pretend that we are much better than we actually are.

wouldn't surprise me. Yankees are strange beings, and I've always wondered what yall do when you are stuck inside for 6 months straight every winter. Thanks for the insight

Sometimes we have 7-8 month winters, which is a great time for reflecting on our terrible sports teams and rationalizing why they aren't better. We enjoy bundling up, sitting by the fireplace, and having a nice big glass of pop with some warm New England clam chowder over which I like to sob myself to sleep.

That's about what I would expect living in Kansas City would be like. Of course, it would be soda in St. Louis, but otherwise identical

Well unless #1 national rankings and top 5 finishes and what not are "lowly regarded" I think the comparison holds fine.

But even taking your stance, Hootie & the Blowfish was also highly regarded on a national stage in the mid-1990s, and like Arky basketball, literally nobody on God's green earth has thought or cared about them since. So at best, you are sitting at the table with us as our tourguide, and that's even assuming we are on the precipice of a roughly 20 year decline as frighteningly sad as Arky's has been.

One year, 2 seed (lose)
Next year, 8 seed (lose)
Next year, no seed (who GAF what they do in the NIT)

Sounds like the decline is sharp and deadly
