They also didn't face UF with spurrier and Meyer and tenn with fulmer. I would say the two programs are pretty close.

It's not even worth obsessing over. Historically, USCe has always been a traditional Beer Pong school, while Mizzou has been...actually, I'm not sure what Mizzou's tradition is. Is there some inherently Missouri-ish sport besides raging penis envy?

They sure seem to think so. The reason I ask is, I keep seeing Mizzou posters say "We're doing something in our 2nd year (win the East) that took youse guys (USC) 20 years!"

Last 10 years? Still Missouri. We were ranked #1 on the last weekend of the season in 2007. Mizzou won 12 games that year. Those two things right there are two things USC has never done.
The reason that Mizzou fans are talking shite to USC fans is because you guys haven't stopped stalking us since it became clear you need us to lose so you can "back in" to the SECCG.
The simple fact is this, you're good this year, we're good this year, UGA and Florida...not so much.

Two things.
It's not "backing in" if one team hasn't played all of their conference games and the other one is done. How this concept is loss on y'all is amazing.
Also, I started a few troll threads directly after the game. Ever since then anytime we mention Mizzou, we're suddenly obsessed. Even if we're just making predictions in a prediction thread. I've got Mizz-SEC following me to every thread.
To say it's all us is asinine.

Pretty much.
A couple of the cool USCe poster's roll with the punches for a laugh but there are a few that are off the reservation with the nervousness and insecurity.
The last time I have seen this many "Mizzou" threads by one fan base was the Hog lot rolling out the welcome wagon after we joined the SEC.

USC's last losing season was 10 years ago (playing in the SEC), Mizzou has had 2 in that time frame (playing in the big12 for most of that time).
USC has had back to back 11 win seasons-something Mizzou has never done.
USC has been ranked 57+ (can't remember the exact number) weeks, good for 5th best in the country.
