I realize this is strictly a troll thread but we paid 1.5 mil for a rent a win vs Nevada at home a few weeks ago. That's a shite load of money, supposedly they pulled in like 2.8 total from the MWC last year. I imagine it's a pretty simple equation for ADs of revenue for a home game vs what you're paying. Getting these rent a wins vs mid level teams keeps getting more expensive
Basically I'm saying I'm sure your AD is doing it because it makes financial sense.

those are good comparisons. i'd say reggie used to be more klong/maroonnation but calmed down after the Egg Bowl loss. If they win he'll probably be back to his old ways.
