Yeah my grandfather was class of '53 and is fairly good friends with him.
I remember him being at their house during a party and just acting like people should worship him, and he was too good to even talk to me.
Like you said he isn't a great person but he was a hell of a football player.

I think so many years of being the sole Aggie to win the Heisman might have gone to his head just a tad. Couple of my dad's friends said he wasn't exactly overjoyed when JFF emerged as a legit Heisman contender.

think of it this way... they're concentrated in one area, not dispersed throughout the state. the only people that have to deal with them are other austinites(?)
