Is Malzahn worse than Chiz?

Chiz actually brought a national championship trophy to Auburn. And he had a better record at this point in his career than Malzahn. Chiz was 31-12, Malzahn is 28-15.

Gus at least has teeth. I know because he is constantly biting his nails on the sidelines.
But, let's be real. We have you guys to thank for our 2010 trophy. If Cam wouldn't have stolen one of your laptops and threw it out a window, we wouldn't have that trophy.

They are equal. Shitty head coaches who should never have risen about coordinator level.

Yeah that is correct.
The only thing in Malzahn's favor is that his OC skills did play a role in the 2010 season. But he's every bit as bad of a head coach as Chiz.

Yea Cam won that trophy damn near by himself. The coaches actually adapted to him because early in that season Clemson had them beat and went to ot i believe and the next week Scar was about to win until Stephen Garcia Garciad!!

We all need to thank Cam, if not for Cam and that 2010 season, Auburn may have fired Chizik before 2012, and hired a coach not named Gus, who could had built the program up to championship status by now.

If anything, the opposite would've been true. 2010 raised the expectations and put more pressure on Chizik, under which he cracked.

It really doesn't matter, to be honest. Gus gets paid 4 mil a year and has produced nothing. I just want him gone.

Malzahn may go down in history as a flash in the pan but Chizik rode that flash plus Cam Newton and a senior laden team to a national championship.
Chizik may be a fine DC, but Malzahn is a better head coach.
Neither of them should be head coach at a school like Auburn.

Auburn's AD should be made to broadcast a public apology to all SEC fans for disgracing the conference with these two hires.
At least the guy who met Chiz at the airport correctly called him out.

I agree with Ross, Gus appears to be able to handle his players better than Chiz...although Gus has had a good bit of attrition for various reasons/issues. Gene is a good DC and Gus is a good OC but this is the SEC and Auburn isn't at a level where they should be used as a training ground for any wanna be HC.
