Look, objectively, that 2011 team, as teams go may have been the greatest team ever to play in Baton Rouge and maybe one of the Top 5 teams in the last half century in college football. They took on all comers in the regular season and dispatched them. Yes, they beat the Rose Bowl Champ, the Orange Bowl Champ, the eventual National Champion and the Sugar Bowl Champ and had a Heisman finalist. But they lost in the game that was for the National Championship.
Please let that season go.

I'd be interested to see the BCS rankings after the game. See how close it was. LSU had a harder schedule and more wins. They'd have the nudge in the computers, no doubt. But the system was set up so the winner of that game gets crowned champion, well not in 2003.

We lost the game. However, it would have been nice if the AP poll would have voted LSU #1 ala USC in 2003 =)
