This may be asked and answered already, but does "scrong" = strong? Or scoring? They both work in this instance....

Maybe my football knowledge isn't that scrong but I thought you couldn't advance the ball on a fumble into the end zone?

I was wondering that too. I know you can't fumble forward on 4th down in the pros, but I don't know the rules on this.

Only on 4th down you can't fumble forward.

Mississippi State last year scored a TD on Bama with crap like that, they fumbled at like the freaking 10 and it got kicked twice into the endzone and they fell on it for the most BS TD ever.

Didn't MSU do that against Alabama last year?

And State is definitely better than FSU.

If by "State" you mean "Mississippi State", you are right.

You would also be right if you said Michigan State, Kansas State, Louisiana State, or Ohio State...and probably Arizona State.

NC State, Iowa State, and Penn State would give them a game.

LSU fumbled into the end zone last week and OM recovered for a touchback

Or any down if you fumble forward and it goes out of bounds - or at least I think that is right. But, it's like a new day every day now in college football, so I am not sure anymore.

It's pretty stupid actually and could be viewed as slightly racist by some, making fun of the way Jameis Winston said "Strong" with a black southern drawl during the interview after the NCG win...but it's funny on this board I guess...I could care less for the Crableg thief but I'm not participating in this joke...I know most probably only mean it lightly but this is the origin:

You are right. Thank you for the very respectful way you pointed this out. I edited "scrong" in my post.

Don't want to turn this thread into a political debate, just appreciated his point for my own take.

He's still a crab thief. :)

Scrong is free from race, color, and creed. It is just a word coined by an idiot.
