Sheeeit. If Bitch can crack that elusive 8 win barrier, they'll throw him a ticker tape parade down Cumberland Avenue.

Though I would love to see him get the axe. Lord knows UTk has been on such a hot streak lately when it comes to hiring coaches.

There is no way in hell Tennessee will be favored in 10 games this year

Every year TN gets hyped up whether it be their amazing WRs and a few quality defenders or a decent QB that gets a ton of hype.

Until TN gets a decent OL, they will continue to underperform on the regular. I have them pegged at 7-9 wins.

They will win 7 games then yell "next year" while bombarding the board with all articles about the puke orange they can find. Same shite, different year.

Yes, we were getting soooooooooooo much hype in 2013 and 2014

Keep repeating the same lies, it's really cool.

I know Carolina has UT to thank for helping us get in the SEC. All my adult like I have respected the UT heritage. I hired two reporters from your journalism school.

Been to UT several times.

But people like you are slowly making me see Tennessee in the same light as Clemson and North Carolina.

One of the above posters was correct when he asked you to take this junk to the UT board.

Fwiw, he expects us to go 6-6 or 7-5. In fact, he's hoping for it.

Coaching changes give him an erection.

If Jones wins 9, he's probably a decent coach. If not... OL play will decide.

I concur OU is a huge game. Arkansas will be tough. I think they're too physical.

I think you could win 10.

I think you could also win six or seven.

Eight or nine would be an excellent season, given the class you hope to land in February.

I am thinking you guys will start out 11-0 and then get tripped up at home vs Vandy because you are looking ahead to your rematch with Arkansas in the SEC champ game. So 11-1, good season vols.

Actually, I think 7 or 8 wins in '15 is a reasonable expectation...I do expect more in '16...so as a Vol fan, I say..."wait until year after next"

Favored in 10 out of 12 games. 1 pick em game (UGA), 1 game as an underdog (Bama).

Vegas is saying VOLS should go 10-2 or 11-1. Would a 9-3 season be the beginning of trouble for Butch?

Favored???? Vegas is about as batshit on the Vols as it gets. Sure we are favored SLIGHTLY on many games but at the same time Vegas DOES NOT expect us to win 10. Their odds on the season win total are incredibly low for us. They have to give us the home field points on a lot of home games but they are giving us +3 (or less) which is your standard home field.

Beyond that, Vegas is there to make you bet. Nothing more or less. Not enough bets on a team? Tweak the odd to to even the bets out. It is NOT there to produce legit w-l odds.

TL;DR - Not just no but hell nah. Be happy with 8-9.
