Miles will leave Baton Rouge with nothing to do with Saban. The two times that the LSU fanbase has been most ready to run him out of town had absolutely nothing to do with Saban or Alabama. I think those honors belong to Houston Nutt and Derek Dooley.
Outside of the National Championship game, Miles is usually at his best against Saban and Bama. Won a great OT game in Tuscaloosa Saban's first year; Lost in OT in Baton Rouge when LSU was really bad and Bama really good. Lost a game in Tuscaloosa after having a 15-10 lead going into the 4th quarter when Bama won the National Title after losing our starting QB and a sure INT wasn't called for some strange reason. Won in Baton Rouge when Bama still had opportunity to win SEC and National Championship; Won the "Game of the Century" in Tuscaloosa when that game meant pretty much everything. Things changed, but at that time, that game was for all the marbles.
LSU has won 9 of the last 13 games against Bama. Miles and Saban are 3-3. LSU and Miles are holding up just fine with Saban and Bama. Bama has won 1 SEC title and 2 National Titles while LSU has won 2 SEC titles and 1 National Title while both were at their respective places.
There are other coaches that can't win even one game against Nick and Bama. I think you Bama fans need to look elsewhere to find Saban's next victim.
