LSU has one coming in next year. A kid out of Mississippi that Cameron recruited.
Does LSU give Cam another 2 or 3 years to see if the QB can develop

Yeah, let's just forget about the bout of prostate cancer & just how much it took away from his ability to even be at practices while undergoing treatment a year ago.

No. He should be given a lifetime contract.

It's Cam's fault that Bama has had better D lines than we've had O lines, that Jennings lacked arm strength, that Harris missed Fournette by ten yards when he was wide open on a screen route, that our fullback fumbled on Bama's goal line...? Dumb thread.

Coaches are responsible for recruiting players and coaching up and developing those players they recruited. Cam had no say in players they recruit and make offers?

So Cam Cameron's job is only judged by what he does vs Bama? Gotcha.

No it is Camerons fault for our entire offence being so predictable a 4th grader could figure it out within the first 2 drives.

Miles should have gotten rid of him, every other coach in the SEC West would have won an SEC West championship with the talent LSU has amassed.

Jennings and Harris were both highly ranked. Franks screwed us with his last second decommitment. Look at who we have coming in next year. Seems like Cameron has nailed an awesome pair of QBs, right? What if they don't pan out? It happens, you know? How many OC's didn't realize Brady would be what he became when he was coming out of high school? All you can do is make reasonable guesses.

Are you kidding me?

First off there's a big difference between Jennings and Harris recruiting. Harris was a higher grade.

Also, Harris is entering his Junior season and just off his first starting season.. so let's not give up. Remember Dak wasn't good until his Junior season.. as well as many others.. Mettenberger wasn't good until his Senior season. Harris' sophomore season stats are very similar to Mett's as a Junior.. so think about that..

Franks leaving actually may very well be a blessing in disguise as he is a MAJOR project.. and LSU now has 2 absolutely tremendous quarterback prospects committed coming in.

Again it just goes back to Miles.. period.. and how much he stays out of the offense..

You could take a quarterback like Houston's Greg Ward Jr, who is a monster in Herman's system.. but I just highly doubt he'd be a monster for LSU in theirs..

On the same note, Brandon Harris is a guy that Tom Herman personally recruited while at OSU.. So I fully believe if Harris was at Houston under him.. he would be a really good quarterback.. That guy does wonders with every quarterback it seems.. look what he did with Cardell Jones.. then look at Jones' fall-out without him.

The talent is absolutely there with Harris, but LSU needs a whole new culture.. they need confidence and it all starts from the coaching and trust.. need to be put into the best situations for success.

Often our quarterbacks are playing so afraid of turning the ball over, because their opportunities and trust is so limited.. that they are playing as if walking on eggshells.

Miles has shown he will only trust a quarterback if he has a Senior.. then he will open it up.. 2008 forever changed Miles and the handling of quarterbacks.

Actually....every single problem you pointed out was an offensive problem. He is your offensive coordinator. Who do you think should get blamed?

How many of those did Cameron recruit, or develop?

Some LSU fans are pieces of work. I see down votes. No problem. Just point out where I am wrong. I could care less if you disagree with my thought process. Just point out where I am wrong and quit down voting and running.

Dak was plenty good but the offense was built for Tyler Russell. Tyler ran a 12 minute 40. Dak was not allowed to do what can do that year.

The problem with this line of thinking is it doesn't take into consideration of what other teams have for talent. Bama has been and is still more talented than Lsu, doesn't really matter who would have been the coach for Lsu when they'd still be faced with the monster in Tuscaloosa. You're looking at the Lsu talent from an inferior teams perspective.
