I even posted a theory a couple of years ago that Les is (was) winning big mostly because of Saban.
If you'll recall, BAMA hiring Saban really fired Les up. He started calling us the "m'fing tide" at rallies, had shirts with the "script A" put on them ("beat bama" kind of thing). He seemed really "all in" on being the anti-Saban, and building a team that could beat BAMA.
Which is smart. To be the best you have to beat the best. Etc. BUT if you're competitive with BAMA (to the point that it really is toss-up game every year), and you're consistently losing games you have no business losing (Arkansas), what have you really accomplished?

Only problem with Les is that Saban took his MoJo and has it and will not give it back.

Well...we had Stafford, Moreno and AJ Green along with about 8 defensive guys that are in the NFL in 08. Hard to imagine a recent SEC team that was loaded with that much NFL talent that lost in the fashion we did that year. But yeah, Miles is the worst.
