Gundy was the reason for this, hence the increased improvement once Miles' strangled hold on the program was relinquished and Gundy received more control.

0 BCS bowls before Gundy was head coach in OSU's history.

Actually, Phil Fulmer was the Mack Brown of the SEC. The way Bob Stoops owns Mack Brown at Oklahoma reminds me a lot of how much Spurrier used to dominate Fulmer in the '90s. Both coaches were usually second fiddle in their conference and did incredibly well against everybody else but they just had a ton of trouble against their chief threat. Also, the way Mack Brown has struggled over the last few years is similar to the way Fulmer's tenure ended at Tennessee.

Maybe you need to worry about:

Arkansas Bowl record:

Postseason bowl record 13–23–3

Before worrying about schools that are actually successful..

Miles as Mack also has that 1 MNC and each have settled for underachieving and mediocrity since then. If Richt could win the MNC once, he could elevate himself to their level.

Dale, you really are the dumbest bastard on here. Even dumber than Bham Dore. Is finishing #2 and top 7-10 mediocre?
