System is an awfully strong word for a Les Miles offense. Currently he is running a 2 QB cluster.

Not an alter. Long time lurker, figured it was time to sack up and make an account.

I heard he wants a package for Harris.

Will Les really play 2 QBs together?

Why do you care? Les won't come close to threatening Gus' current record for QBs used in a single game.

You have to have one quarterback before you can have two.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

No reason to think Les won't at this point. If I'm Mullen, I just sit back and let Les frick things up on his own. Its the equivalent of giving MSU a 20 meter head start on LSU in a 100 meter dash.

We still win that 20 meter dash convincingly.

I think it's more like a "half a QB system".

But it's still two guys.

He's going with a zero QB system. LF, Guice and Williams in wish bone formation.

might be better off with LF7 taking snaps

I honestly want this so bad. Pretty much a wishbone without the fullback and you don't know if Guice or Fournette's will get the direct snap. Then you could also run the option with LF7 getting the snap, obviously you play Fournnette with the ball but have to respect Guice with a possible pitch to the outside. And LF played QB in high school so he should certainly be able to throw some little out routes.

If only. Even if we only ran those packages a few times a game, it would still take up a whole section of opponents film time and practice studying it.

That's a crazy idea but CLM is always willing to try something for the first time.

Usually when you run a 2 QB system, you have one that can run and one that can throw. We have two quarterbacks that can sort of almost do each.

He will definitely do something to piss me off and force me to binge drink. Sundays are always rough. Even when we win.

I hope not, Harris has played well against us. Etling is awful and our defensive front will eat him alive if he can't escape the pocket.

LSU fans have lost their damn minds, again.

Yes, but this is just a stopgap measure until he recruits the next Peyton Manning and has him run the wishbone.
