Too many variables but they are both great. Last year, Mathew Stafford was throwing to Green and JPW to Jones. This year, McElroy to Jones (who has been injured) and Cox to Green. Both teams play different teams (for the most part) who devise different defensive schemes in an attempt to win the games. Who's to say that one might not excel over the other if they swapped teams??? I would love to see Mullen build a passing game (and open up the running game for that matter) around either one of them.

You haven't heard "bammers spewing" it because we actually have a team to brag about now. A team that would humiliate your team worse than it did last year if the two were to play.

So, thanks for playing. Thanks for starting a new thread about something that's been discussed literally 1000+ times here. You are so original. Really, you should be so proud of yourself for having the mental fortitude to start such an engaging and intelligent thread.

That being said, it's time for you to

The only thing that I can say is that of the 3 games that I've seen Bama play JJ is only being thrown to 5-7 times per game. McElroy is definately spreading the ball around.

Therefore it makes it difficult to make a comparison between the two. But AJ definately has
better stats than JJ.

AJ has 25 receptions with an average of 17yds per catch.
JJ has 7 with an average of 17yds per catch

JJ has the size on AJ and for a reciever thats a big deal. Julio will be better in the NFL but I think AJ means more to his team.

No homerism here, but Julio missed two games this year with an injury.

Yes, it's what would make people think JaMarcus Russell is better than Matt Ryan..

rumors were starting to pop up that that injury was more serious than Ala let on. He looked great vs Arkansas. Glad he's fine. He's fun to watch.

I think the train wreck that is the Oakland Raiders has something to do with his progression too.

I don't know about you but that one was easy to spot. I mean it was like night and day if you get my drift.
