Jimbo's rant yesterday was tied to the sexual assault scandal, as the autograph signing for $$$ had yet to hit the press. And that is all on the university's shoulders, as it is the one who has brought this "old" issue back up. So, he should be pissed at his bosses, not the media. But the main writer for S.I. noted that the numbers involved with Manzell, Curly & Winston were "off the charts" in comparision to other violations out there yet to be reported. Specifically, he said that Manzell signed right at 4,400, Curley & Winston between 300-400. The company that authenticates autographs, and has no dog in the hunt re income generated, said that it had 2 series of numbers, each approximately 100+ in sequence, so there was no way this was autographs signed for fans as alleged by Jimbo.

The Student Disciplinary Hearing is a very well timed PR Stunt by FSU. This is what will happen:
1. Jameis will be suspended for the Spring Semester so he can't play baseball or participate in Spring Football Practice
2. If FSU makes it to the National Championship Game an exception will be made for Jameis to play or the game will take place before the Spring Semester at FSU begins. I don't know when Spring Semester Begins at FSU?
The delay, deny and defend tactic by FSU is not new and many other programs have executed this strategy successfully.

I don't understand the SEC rant when it comes to FSU news. All FSU news could easily be posted on the more sports board or Moderators could move it over their but it ends up here. When someone post anything about Clemson or Texas, you shame the hell out of the user ,but FSU gets a pass for some reason.

Honestly, that's only if it's a Texas A&M or South Carolina fan. Betcha if a Florida fan started an FSU thread they would get the same treatment.
It just doesn't happen because there aren't many Florida fans on here.

Florida State has gotten away with some shady shite that has brought down SEC programs, illustrating the double standard with the NCAA.
