Definitely. I think it's always best to judge the quality of a coach after 3/4 of a season!

Last year it was Malzohn now its McElwaib? Both, first year SEC coaches. You guys really comparing him to a 4 time NC coach? How stupid are you guys?

Well, I was being facetious, but I guess that went right over your head.

In 2007 the SEC West wasn't that good.

The East is probably the worst it has ever been this year though so it's worth mentioning.

He inherited much more talent than Saban did and Bama was almost as big a dumpster fire as UF, but with all that being said the answer to the question is that Mac is a better coach... than Les Miles.

Well. Urban Meyer is better. So if McElwain is better he needs to win like three nattys.

Not enough to say what McElwain is right now, he definitely looks like the guy I want running our program but there's nothing saying he even comes close to Saban. We will know in a few more years where he ranks. However, he has done extremely well considering he had about 2 scholarship offensively lineman to start when he came to UF and now is 7-1 and in playoff discussion. As a Gator I'm just enjoying it

Not sure but if Saban retires in the next 4 or so years I'm going to talk about Mac made that arse quit.
