Well considering that you have nothing to do with the success of the team...yea it is a bit sad.

Being or acting arrogant is pretty much recognized as being bad. Proud and happy? Sure and have it, deservedly so from an AU fan. Being arrogant? It may be hard, but try to be a step better. Some would say classy. Great season Bama and we'll see you soon (wounded and all, so there - the excuses are out of the way in advance).

You can be arrogant while still be gracious in winning.

Not when losers like LSU are just as arrogant.

I have no issues with the arrogance. It is always nice to include some classiness along with the arrogance. Not a Bama fan at all, but the run you guys are on is incredible.

Compared to the past, it absolutely is. Some examples:

1. Scholarship limitations (best teams can't stockpile talent like they use to)
2. Shared revenue (more successful/profitable teams have to share revenue with less successful/profitable teams).
3. Proliferation of games on TV. Nearly every game of power 5 teams is on TV. No longer do only a few teams get mass media exposure.

Sure there are teams that still have advantages (some self-created, others not), but compared to past eras college football is set up to have more parity than ever before.

We're in an age where college football is set up to be a Parity System. "We" "Our team" My team is in middle of a dynasty with arguably the best coach out there. Why shouldn't we boast and have fun maybe troll a little bit. The team we root for is simply better than yours right now. Especially when people only argument is to try to attack your fan base culturally or stereotype you based off the worse incident you can find on Internet. This "thing" you live through your team narrative is hilarious given the amount of posts some people have on here and 70% of them are about other teams. Yes we have bandwagon fans... what winning organization doesn't have them? I'll take every one of them who legally buys Licensed apparel, money to the University of Alabama. Love it or Hate.

This is a message board. I can click and choose to view what I want or just turn it off. What is bad is getting caught in face to face discussions with friends and relatives...

Most of us don't like to admit we have relatives in Alabama as it casts a different light on our morality.

No. Bama sucked arse for a long time. I actually started to feel bad for my friends knowing year after year they had no shot at winning the IB. Nothing lasts forever, so enjoy it.

You really don't believe this do you? Long Time? hmmm. What does this say about au? I have witnessed 10 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in my life time. Long time?

It's fine to be proud of the team you're a fan of. But, when "your" team is successful, there's no need to brag or boast. The success speaks for itself. It's always better to be gracious and respectful toward other teams and their fans.

I already went over this with crisp. Yes, it was a long time. It was a majority of my life. I guess for old people it wasn't long time. But for people in their early 30s or younger, it was a long arse time. Congrats on the newfound success! Don't be so butthurt.

Well, in 93 I was 10. After that, we more or less sucked from them until 2008. So from when I was about 10 to 25, we sucked, and heard a lot of shite talking

During the dark days defined in the 15 year period, Bama won the West 4 times (not as big as now - but banner years for some, LOL), lost by one point to UF in 1994 which cost them the SEC and a possible NC, and won the SEC in '99. By Bama standards, that was a piss poor run.

Remembering that period, I can see why some Bama fans are a little full of themselves at times now.

No one ever deserves the right to be arrogant but y'all sure in the hell take it to it's on level. About 5% of the Alabama fan base can respond to threads on here without going full retard! This L6U, LSixU crap is a prime example. fricking 3rd grader shite

But hey, we are talking Alabama fans here so I guess y'all do get a pass! So keep on doing it because just remember it will be glorious when that bubble burst because it will at some point. Being humble always, always overrides being arrogant!

Well, I don't participate in the 3rd grade shite. But it doesn't bother me in the least when y'all address us as Turds/Bammers/Updykes/Tea baggers and call Saban names like Satan/Lil Nicky/$aban. Wouldn't you agree that's just as juvenile?

No, but a little bit of class wouldn't hurt. :)
